SHOLGIRSE, n. Also sjolgirs (Jak.). A plant of the genus Achillea, esp. the yarrow, Achillea millefolium, or sneezewort, Achillea ptarmica (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928), 1947 Shetland Folk Book I. 85).
