KNEEBIE, n. Also kneebi, (k)nibi (Jak.). The top of a wooden saddle, one of the two crossed projecting wooden arms on a pack-saddle from which loads might be suspended (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928)). [′(k)ni(:)bi]Sh. 1898 Shetland News (13 Aug.):
