1. To daze, make stupid; found only in ppl.adj. dazent (Ags.1 1926).
2. Used in imprecations = damn. Freq. used as ppl.adj. dazent, dazend = damned (Cai.7 c.1905).Abd. 1903 in Bnffsh. Jnl. (29 Sept.) 3:
