FOWERSIE, n. Also foursy. A set or figure of four marbles or stones in the game of chucks, which have to be lifted while the remaining one is thrown in the air (Gsw. 1880; Arg. 1900; Mry., Ags., Slg., Fif., wm.Sc. 1953). [′fʌurzi]Gsw. 1935 Bulletin (13 Feb.):
