Quhortout, adv. [Late north. ME whart out (1429), var. of early ME þuertut (c1200), þwerrt ut (Orm); also thwertutnay (1277), Thwertnay. Cf. Quhort n.] Absolutely, utterly, without reservation. Appar. only in Selkirk B. Ct.(1) 1511 Selkirk B. Ct. (ed.) 13.
