Matur(e, a. Also: matture, matour, matuir. [e.m.E. and late ME. mature (1454), L. mātūrus ripe.]

1. Of a person's age: That of a fully developed, adult or ‘mature’ person; adult. 1524 Arran in St. P. Henry VIII IV. i. 158.
