Letacamp, Lit(t)e-, Lit(t)icamp, n. Also: letta-, lete-, leti-, leitta-, lytta-, lyte-, lity-, litie-, litucamp(e, leta-, leitta-, litte-, lit(t)i-, litucampt, letacame, letycamb. [Assimilated var. of Let-de-camp. Cf. also Lit(t)icant and Litillcamp.] A camp-bed, a type of bed which could be dismantled for transportation.Also (? earlier) called a tursing (= trussing) bed.(a) 1529 Treas. Acc. V. 368.
