Copburd(e, -buird(e, n. Also: -bwrd, -buyrd. [Northern ME. copburde (15th c.), -borde, f. Cop n. Cf. Capburde and Cope-burde.]

1. A special table or other piece of furniture for the display or keeping of cups and other plate. 1494 Treas. Acc. I. 241.
